Supercell never fails to impress. This time, they have attracted the biggest teams from the mobile gaming industry to their Clash Royale League. The amount of participants that attempted to qualify for this league was over 25 million with approximately 6,723 players advancing to the next stage. There are several professional organisations that are soon set to build their rosters from the League’s pool in order to prepare for the upcoming seasons and possibly the World Championship.
The first region that will have the first season running will be Asia, starting April 27th to July 14th. Other regions are expected to begin in August. Finally, the top teams from each region will meet in the World Championship to fight for a prize pool of $1 million.
From North America, the teams announced were Team Solomid, 100 Thieves, Cloud9, Complexity, Counter Logic Gaming, NRG, Tribe Gaming, and Immortals. From Europe, the teams announced were Team Liquid, Fnatic, G2 Esports, Team Queso, Team Dignitas, Allegiance, SK Gaming, and Misfits.
On the other hand, Pocket Gamer has reported the names of the Chinese and Asian teams on their website. The Chinese teams are EDG.M, GO, JDG, LGD, NOVA, OP, SNAKE, and WE. In addition, the Asian teams also include OGN Entus, Sandbox, Kingzone, OP.GG, GameWith, PONOS Sports, DetonatioN Gaming, FAV Gaming, AHQ ESPORTS CLUB, KIX, Chaos Theory, and Bren Esports.
Finally, there is no information on the Latin American teams yet but they will be announced soon. With the 36 teams announced thus far, it definitely seems like the Clash Royale League will be a blazing tournament consisting of talented teams and a big prize pool that will drive each to practice religiously.
