While it took longer than we thought, today Epic Games has officially made the game available to all iOS users with supported devices and no code is required. With this move, Epic Games will start focusing on improving the game’s controls and prepare its launch for Android.
We recently received update 3.4 on Fortnite which has focused on refining graphics on iOS devices and a smoother gameplay experience. This update also included great content such as the Guided Missile on all platforms.
Keep in mind that you will at least need an iPhone 6S/SE, iPad, iPad Mini 4, iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, or a 2017 iOS tablet in order to play Fortnite. You will notice lag on the older devices and washed-out visuals but with the latest devices you will see the game as an identical copy to the PC version.
